its true they are very underrated but theres reasons EXO and Bangtan Sonyeondan got so far. although it has a lot to do with their talent (rap line, vocal line, dance line, visuals) it also has to do with how diverse their music is from average kpop groups (not to say Monsta X is average but their concepts are a lot similar to other groups whereas Bangtan brought new things to the table that other groups wouldnt touch on) it also has to do with their personality. ive found a lot of really amazing nice idols (monsta x, a.c.e, ikon, etc) but for what its worth, BTS are some of the most humble people ive found. despite their enormous and spontaneous growth rate they remained really respectable and admirable idols. Theyre really humble considering all the bragging rights they have. im not saying Monsta X doesnt deserve more attention because i 270% agree they do but hoping theyll go as far as bts or exo (also given the fact they debuted in 2015) is kind of far fetched. i feel like exo and bts earned their place, not that other groups havent but theres a noticable difference between bts and other groups. i hope i dont offend you. it just my opinion and thoughts on the matter.

@@sarahevamarie9286 You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with the idea being farfetched that Monsta X will be as popular as said groups one day. They have a unique sound, are incredibly talented (not only in terms of Rap, but also Vocals which is one of BTS' weaknesses in my opinion aside from Jin) and actually touch on sensitive topics (just look at All In's MV) as well. They're very genuine, straightforward and appear really close as a group. It just takes time for people (mainly Koreans) to notice them, because they don't have this clean poppy image and they come from a smaller company. Monbebes are certainly growing. :)

shibbikitteh lol actually, there are groups that have been around far longer that have revolutionised the kpop industry a sight ton more than bangtan. what about shinee? bigbang? their music and attitudes towards society through their music really have stomped out a path bigger than bangtan imo
