If Sistar had to disband, I'm so glad they did it this way. Not because of controversies or fights between members or their popularity was fizzling. They are simply leaving at peak popularity so each member can do solo stuff with best opportunities. And I love how they prepped Star1s and have been going out with a bang and goodbye celebration stages rather than just quietly announcing it and disappearing like so many girl groups did. It gave fans time to grieve and for Sistar to show how much they appreciated everyone. Sistar did it right.

kagnomi that's what I love about them. Now we just have to support each member individually. So different from other groups. They learned how to appreciate each other even if the company form them. There just real sisters without being related to each other.

kagnomi Exactly, and they still interact a lot on SNS, SISTAR may be disbanded (more like hiatus for me, as they said they wanted to reunite), All SISTAR sns accounts are still active and they still post content ( I hope they post stuff about each member even if they are not in Starship anymore) plus Starship still follows all of the members. I hope as well that we see them together on shows and stage again (as individuals), that THEIR bond remains as strong as it's now forever and that they do some collabs, meet often and comeback as Sistar in the near future (I hope for the 10th anniversary). They all wanted to leave SISTAR and achieve things on their own, but they will never leave eachother and their Sister bond.

After 5 years, i will cry every time i played this song. The 1st kpop group i stan. Thank you sistar

Daesung is my ultimate bias! Also let’s not forget Apink, who were also from a very small company but became legends and one of the biggest gg and is still very active!

Honestly, the ending photo is the most emotional part of this video for me. It hits me so hard. They take a group picture, everything goes gray and it's suddenly... so silent. Especially with Dasom's EPIC narration. So depressing, but unfortunately - it's life, simple as that. We all eventually turn into memories and at some point we'll be forgotten. I always think of this moment during my acting classes when I have to cry instantly. Works everytime.

As someone who experienced separation from a close small group of friends (and will experience it again), I relate to this song. Please make every moment counts with your friends as well. Sometimes you don't know when you'll see them again.

They had the best disband that I can remember of all K-Pop groups, and I'm an old-timer. So yeah, they did it beautifully. Hence, I believe so many new viewers are amazed by their "style" and keep harking back to this 2nd gen. Also, a #STAR1 ... so don't believe everything I say, lol.

I was just thinking how Hyolyn's solo career, the reason behind Sistar's disbandment, hasn't exactly taken off like I think she thought it would -- none of their solo careers have for that matter -- but you make a very good point. Sometimes it's best to leave while you're on top. At least they weren't abandoned by their label for money reasons as has been the tragic case far too often. Still, I can't help but hope for a reunion ...maybe reforming under Hyolyn's new label?

WE NEED THE EP BACK IN SPOTIFY RIGHT NOW !! NDNDND 😭

They disband for the sake of their future, they disband to enter the 2nd stage of their life which mean they have to go on their own and seperated. But we need to be thankful because they disband as ONE, disband without any controversy, talented, win a lot of trophies, and the most important things' they will stay as ONE ENTITY and I'm pretty sure they'll renew their contract as individual w/ Starship and King Kong(under starship) because Sistar and Starship end their contract in good term so basically it's not a big problem. But, Eventhough they're not going to promote as SISTAR anymore but as Hyolyn, Soyou, Bora, and Dasom. Eventhough they'll sign into another company. Idfc about all of that because they'll always be STAR1's Queen and will always be the Queen of Summer. So dear STAR1, from now on we just need to look forward, keep going on to support, love, and cheer them on their individual activity because that's what they wish for ^

Okay so I read a theory about this music video on Instagram. Basically, the pool scene represents how Bora tends to look left out and lonely but then we see the other members sitting by the side of the pool, representing how even if Bora seems distant or excluded, the members are always there right behind her and looking out for her. The scene where Soyou and Hyorin are taking a selfie and Dasom and Bora are in the background shows how Hyorin and Soyou's careers advanced but Bora and Dasom were still always 'in the picture'. Then when Bora and Hyorin are at the front being focused on, Dasom and Soyou are standing in the background which represents how Sistar19 got popular and Dasom and Soyou weren't quite in the spotlight but still supported Sistar19. Then the part where Dasom falls on the sand is when she received malicious comments, but then Bora turns around to help her up which is showing how Sistar helped her through that. And yeah. Meta

The part when dasom ( im not sure whether is her sorry I'm not STAR1 but I love their vibes and songs and spirit and everything ) sat on the bed, her heels put off, means SISTAR's career ended (they were summer queens, perform on stage with high heels) , and Soyou pointed at the top of the blue lighted tower, means SISTAR was successful and they want to go successful and achieve a high level, and they did. I dunno why i keep back in this song.. i just feel the pain, the loneliness through this song.. but make me strong at the same time... i love this gurls alot. They are the living arts

I'm glad they disbanded this way. Although I'm so sad to accept this reality, but at least they put a proper closure to what an amazing years we have had with them since their debut. Thanks for everything SISTAR. You guys will be missed. I wish all members the best after this.

STAR1 please be thankful that we at least got a peaceful goodbye. We got a last comeback and there are no controversies about their disbandment. We will all miss Sistar, I know that, but please let's support these wonderful girls as they move on to the next chapters of their lives. Thank you Sistar for everything. You will always be legends and I will never stop stanning you. Summer can never be the same again with you. This is a bitter sweet goodbye but I think we all knew it would happen sooner or later. 2022, KZread recommended this MV to me. It was my first time watching the MV. I was extremely shocked and touched. I never knew that Sistar filmed their disband song in my hometown, watching their last memories where I was so familiar. My tears dropped. I was really missing their group, despite I was not a fan of them before, but their songs accompanied my primary school years.

this is the saddest part being fan of sistar. They Left me alone obssessed into them and heartbroke.

*With time* *Everything will be forgotten* *And so will you* *That’s what’s really sad.* -Dasom I am not a STAR1 but I have always liked and respected them. Their title tracks are absolutely legendary which have hit Melon roofs so many times. Ma Boy, Give It to Me, So Cool, Touch My Body etc. are songs that actually brought so many people to KPop in the first place. I would like everyone to know that SISTAR is the gg with the highest no. of Melon roof hits, 103 in total and they are 2nd in position only after Big Bang at no.1. You should feel proud of these QUEENS. They are not just legends, they are absolute immortals! Hyolyn is a vocal maestro who can singlehandedly slay a whole group if she wants to. I know all good things must come to an end one day but that doesn't make Starship look any more guilty of how they have treated these legends. My heart goes out to all the wonderful Star1s who have stuck with SISTAR for 7 long years. I know you all are going down the memory lane right now. Stay strong and stay COOL just like your idols. Now on Lonely.....Its absolutely beautiful, it's so mesmerizing that it hurts. The implicit sadness can be felt so precisely in every scene. I don't know why but it always seems that the final song of every group always ends up as the best comeback. I can only imagine what you guys must be going through right now. Like I said, feel proud of SISTAR. They are one of the pioneering torchbearers of Kpop and nobody can ever change that. Ever.

Me too. I am not a STAR1 but they are one of the groups that convinced me to like kpop again. This is the first time I teared up because of a disbandment. How true it is...the kpop fan-mily I had back then from those years have all grown up and are gone/moved on with life. There's no one left...

Out of all the Disbandments, this one hit the hardest.. I nvr actually cried watching a disbandment video until now. I just want to say thank you Sistar for everything and even though they are disbanding, its on a good note with no scandals or conflicts 🙏🏻 I'm super proud to be a Star1 and as a second generation fan I'm sad to say I will probably not follow kpop anymore

Felt this for real. Miss that era with the groups you mentioned and Fiestar, KARA , and of course Sistar. I grew out of Kpop but when I think about it and miss it I go and listen again and it’s always the same songs none of the new. Kpop isn’t as good anymore yah feel? Happy younger timessss. I’m just finding out about this song too 3 years after

[060417] SISTAR having a mini fanmeeting. They hugging their kstar1 and thanking them one by one at 4am is the most precious thing ever. Fans asked SISTAR to do we the b.e.s.t sistar greeting one last time and soyou was like bye turned around and wiped her tears and Bora simply wiped her tears too. And Sistar told not to cry. This is the advantage of having a small fandom, sistar was able to give a proper goodbye to us.
