It's the other way around actually, the international market missed out on the formative years and therefore, financially less well-off agencies that made huge bets, like Starship did on SISTAR. That caused the 4 of them to be very close. To this day. That's prob the vibe that everyone's kinda missing.

I think the original comment refers to those kpop idols that promote ideas such as "everything above 50 kg is a sin", "I weight myself everyday" or "I eat a spoon of rice per day", when SISTAR members said that they don't rely on scales, but mirrors and like to train a lot.

Why do all SISTAR songs have the same formula? Hyorin sings first, gets the most lines. Dasom sings once, Bora raps once, and Soyou sings only to be interrupted by Hyorin. Like seriously, give the other members more fucking lines. It annoys me because the only explanation for this is that Hyorin is the main vocalist so she gets all the lines, but that doesn't mean the other girls can't sing. Give more lines to the other girls so we can see their vocalist abilities as well. Stop being so BIAS STARSHIP!

They give lines according to their ability. The song producer know their capability a lot better than us fans. The reason why hyorin get the most line is because of her stamina. Dasommie doesn't have even stamina. She is training it up hopefully. Fro high notes, soyu sounds airy so it doesn't sound good unless it is like 'some'.For rapping, usually they have only a short part otherwise it will be really weird like Hyuna's solo comebacks with way too much rap.

I swear; in my opinion, Sistar is the best girl group in kpop, with their singing, dancing, rapping skills, not taking anything away from other girl groups because their songs and choreography were very good, but I swear; in my opinion Sistar had the most difficult, yet very impressive choreography they made it look easy when it wasn't that's how great they are. we miss you Sistar!! everyone be safe out there!!

I completely agree! There's a reason why Taeyeon and Seohyun get more lines in GG than Hyoyeon or Sooyoung or Yoona, not because of favouritism but because they're just better vocalists- why wouldn't you give people who are better singers more lines in a song? It just makes sense... Even though all of them are talented, that's just the way it is. At least Soyu, Bora and Dasom are all popular in their own right, and get fair amounts of attention... In 4minute there's super-popular Hyuna and then 4 other girls that aren't nearly as popular. It makes me sad because my bias is Jiyoon and the other girls are so overlooked in comparison to Hyuna.

KPOP back then was full of spices, their music and MV has lot of happenings that you wont get bored. All natural and charismatic not just about choreo and how to be perfect on stages. Thats why till now I do not regret waiting for these group to comeback

I'm not a huge K-Pop fan, though I admire SISTAR enough to have read up on them a little. This is the most unusual K-Pop music video I've seen. Probably lowest costuming and makeup/hair budgets ever. Location rentals had to be low. No sets. Choreographer: maybe, maybe not. Small production crew, I'd bet. So besides personnel, major expenses are travel, lodging, food, insurance, and that gorgeous Camaro (unless, maybe, rented?). Nice concept, too. Off by themselves, away from Asia (at first I thought they were on the US Gulf coast, maybe Alabama), no Korean to be seen, unglamorous. No fans, no men. Dress for the tropics, wear comfy shoes, eat whatever, be goofy, and have fun. No pressure. And all the better for it.

It's been over a year and I still love this so much TT_TT It was what got me into kpop again~

Loved the song&music video it was very different&refreshing from a typical Sistar song. Also can people stop complaining about the lines please, recently in audio it always seems like Hyorin has the most lines but that's not 100% true. Soyou&Hyorin rotate between lines&lately in just the audio Dasom's parts are mixed with Hyorins voice, so it's sometimes hard to tell which parts are Dasom. Bora doesn't need singing lines, she needs rap lines not singing. Like c'mon face it, Bora is not meant for singing she is not so great at it but she is a great rapper and has that kind of edge Sistar needs for their songs. Now can we all just enjoy this new song&special album :D

I don't know why, I love Sistar BUT! I wish they would give more lines to the other members besides Hyorin! :(( Dasom got 1 line, Bora got the rapping part, and I could barely hear Soyu! :(( I know Hyorin is a great singer and Yes I give a two thumbs up to her! But I can't support the whole thing about that there is so much attention towards Hyorin!! I'm sure the others also have the ability to make the song just as good as it is now!!! Maybe even better!!!! PLEASE STARSHIP!! GIVE ATTENTION/LINES TO THE OTHERS!! ;D ~Hwaiting Sistar!

A lot of people seem to not be able to distinguish between dasom, hyorin, and soyu's voices. But trust me, they got way more lines then you think.

I agree with you on that! I wish Soyu also got some more part! I felt like it was Hyorin of Sistar is singing this mv. Not Sistar as the group singing! I wish they would equally given lines to Soyu, Dasom, and Bora! :/
